About Us Keith Parker was born and raised in Chillicothe, Ohio. He moved to Grove City in 1988. His wife Pam has lived in and around Grove City since 1965. Keith has made Grove City his home over the last 18 years and knows more people and has made more friends than it would take a normal person ten lifetimes to make. A majority of his friends ride bikes, as does he. His love of his Harleys has made Parker's Tavern a favorite place for all who ride. Keith's dream was to someday own a neighborhood pub that people think of as the social place to gather. A place where people get together at the end of a day's work to meet their friends and have a beer; a place to shoot a game of pool or play shuffleboard; a place where people feel comfortable. If you talk to any of our customers (our friends), that's exactly what they say about Parker's Tavern. He believes we should show our appreciation to our customers. They're the reason for our success. That's why Keith hires well known bands and doesn't charge a cover..to show his appreciation. When he "retired" from the construction business, he decided to pursue his dream. Keith (and Pam) bought the tavern May of last year (2005). It was formerly known as the Shedrow Saloon. They've worked tirelessly to make it what it is today, especially Keith. He had a vision of it's unlimited possibilities - a diamond in the rough. Now that Keith has finished most of the work on the interior, he's constructing an outdoor patio. He's working with the City Development Commission and City Council to make sure we maintain the integrity of the historic value of the Town Center. Keith and Pam like the historic district of Grove City and its charm. Keith has realized his dream because Parker's has become what he always envisioned. And the thanks we continually get from our customers...our friends...says it all. They've made Parker's Tavern "their place". Why not make it yours?
